  I was born in County Mayo in 1980 and started painting at the very young age of five. I continued on throughout the years and graduated with a B.A. in Fine Art from the Limerick College of Art and Design in 2002.

My Art has been widely exhibited in the west of Ireland particularly in pubs and restaurants. When my work was on display in a local pub it attracted the interest of the TV presenter and well-known artist Dermot Kavanagh which led to an interview about my work and an appearance on the BBC 2 show ‘Awash With Colour’. I have also been commissioned to do several portraits of local people, one in particular resulting in an interview by a local newspaper, which took place in 2001.

Portraiture has always been an important and major part of my work. At the moment I am concentrating on putting my own show together which I hope to get exhibited in some well-known galleries all over the country and eventually I aspire to having my work on display all over the world.
